Wrestling Team & Booster Meeting Monday (15 Aug 11) @ 6:45 in the Fieldhouse Team Room with Coach Huford.

Jesse Smith (112) and Zach Smith (140) are Pell City’s first State Champions!!!

Pell City brought home it’s highest finish to date at the State Championships this year with an 8th place finish. The team only qualified 7 wrestlers (half a team).

The Panthers are taking a record 7 wrestlers to the State Tournament!!!

The team as a whole finished 4th in the Section 3 Tournament.

The Pell City Panthers Wrestling Team placed 7th out of 16 teams in the Gene Taylor Classic, which was held December 10th & 11th.

Jake Smith (112) and Daniel Edwards (152) both won their divisions.

Zach Smith (145) finished second in his weight class.

Dallas Martin (160) finished third.

The Pell City Panthers Wrestling Team placed ninth out of 16 teams in the Huntsville Invitational which was held December 3rd & 4th.

Jake Smith (112) won his division.

Jesse Smith (119) and Zach Smith (145) both finished second.

Alex Hopson placed fourth.

Junior Varsity Wrestlers David Robinson (145) and Logan Sullivan (215) both won their divisions while Ricky Maze (125) finished fourth.

The seasons  Hydration Test is scheduled for 8:00am October 30th at Hoover High School.
